I didn’t know what to expect with this book. Martin Nalitz is a first-time author and it’s the first book in a series, so I was leery but I liked the little teaser I read. I’m pleased to say I had nothing to worry about. The characters were very engaging, some were funny, some had an edge. Jack Reno is a superb character/hero. A main character with flaws! What a concept. He’s not perfect, but you want to know what he does next. The story flows great, reads very easily, and I kept going back to it after I put it down. I love a story where I didn’t see the ending coming. It’s a personal opinion, but I also liked that there were scenes that were romantic rather than raunchy. Outstanding, can’t wait for the next Jack Reno book to come out.
